Hormone Test Timing Calculator
Sex hormones move through the month, so when you test changes what the result means. Tell us about your cycle and we will mark the days each marker reads most reliably.
Which best describes your cycle?
How this is worked out
FSH, LH and oestradiol are timed to the early follicular phase (day 2 to 5, where day 1 is the first day of your period); progesterone is timed to roughly seven days before your next period is due (the day 21 convention at a 28-day cycle, adjusted to your cycle length). These windows match the guidance in our hormone testing guide. The tool plans timing only and does not interpret hormone levels.
This tool is for general wellbeing information and is not a diagnosis or medical advice. It places the numbers you enter in context; it cannot tell you whether you have a condition. If a result concerns you, or you have symptoms, speak to your GP.
Measure it properly
A calculator works on numbers you already have. The Hormone Balance panel is processed by a UKAS-accredited lab and reviewed by a qualified clinician.
