A testosterone result means little without your age beside it. Reference ranges shift over the decades. Enter your age and your total testosterone to see where it sits.
How this is worked out
Age bands are the total testosterone reference ranges cited in our testosterone-by-age guide: 8.7 to 29.0 nmol/L for ages 18 to 49 and 6.7 to 25.7 nmol/L from age 50, drawn from BSSM guidance and UK laboratory standards. Ranges are indicative; individual labs vary. nmol/L to ng/dL uses a factor of 28.842.
