UK labs usually report vitamin B12 in ng/L (the same number as pg/mL); some labs and active-B12 tests use pmol/L. Convert between them instantly, no account needed.
1 ng/L (pg/mL) = 0.7378 pmol/L, so 1 pmol/L = 1.3554 ng/L.
How this is worked out
Uses the standard conversion factor for vitamin B12 (cobalamin): 1 ng/L = 0.7378 pmol/L (molar mass 1355.37 g/mol), so 1 pmol/L = 1.3554 ng/L. ng/L and pg/mL are numerically identical.
